The Hans Christian 48 was designed and constructed to be the ultimate blue water cruiser. Her cutaway forefoot full keel with integrated rudder, canoe stern, and oversized rigging makes her capable and strong on the open sea. Liward was built in the Hansa yard in Taiwan which was known for their craftmanship and quality. There is massive amounts of storage which is great for prolonged cruising. With the same owners, for over 38 years, Liward has been meticulously maintained with only the highest standards of materials and workmanship. She is an extremely comfortable home and capable cruising vessel. Her sturdy construction, classic design, and unprecedented safety make her a great choice for serious cruising or for living aboard in port.
